From Lacky to Licensed

Around 18 years ago, I found myself job hunting and trying to figure out a career path. Coincidentally, my brother-in-law needed a hand on a roofing job and was looking for a “lacky.” It was summertime, my legs were lily white and I figured a day on the roof was a win-win situation. I somehow made it through the day unscathed… and the rest is history.

Starting at the bottom—with a fear of heights and a love of being outdoors (go figure) I learned the trade and quickly found my feet.

Working along side a solid crew of guys over the years, the passion grew, the skills sharpened, and in 2013 I became qualified in Long Run Metal Roofing. Not one to stop there, I went on to complete my Membrane Roofing and Torch-on qualifications too.

Fast forward 18 years and a few roofs later here I am,  ready for a new chapter :)
